"Cotton picking Minute"

Where did that phrase come from , mostly used in the southern states of teh United States of America. Any ideas? pray do tell.

lol love your question, love the photo, wouldn't know but if I had to guess, I'd stay that 'One COTTOn picking minute" is way longer tham a regular minute...must have been coined by a slave working at picking cottons?????
